Penny for a Ticket

Okay it may not be November and the days of parading a Guy around the shopping malls have long gone, but this splurge of home games is certainly bleeding me dry.

After taking on Lincoln City and Grimsby Town last week, this week we face Newport County and Ebbsfleet in the space of three days, with Newport visiting this Tuesday followed by Ebbsfleet on Thursday.

Last week I speculated that I thought the attendances for the Lincoln and Grimsby game might drop off, but, as is often the case so the wife says, I was wrong. Hatter supporters excelled themselves and shot past the 5,000 mark on both occasions.

But will we do it this week?

I certainly intend being there so and I`ll be sticking my hand down the back of the sofa and that comfy armchair the wife uses to see if there`s any spare change down there whilst also cashing in the coppers I keep in a rather large bottle, because that`s what you do when your body is indelibly stamped with Luton Town Football Club.
