The Hatters are on the road this evening, heading west to take on Oxford United in a League One fixture.

Nathan Jones, after the huge disappointment of seeing his side drop two points, against Charlton Athletic at the weekend, courtesy of a 95th-minute equaliser, will be hoping his side can buck the trend which has seen the Hatters struggle on the road since achieving promotion from League Two, last May.

Night games have always held a fascination for me, there is a certain ambience about them, the still night air, the smell of embrocation drifting into the stands and the general feeling that, when it comes to away games, a genuine effort has been made by those who follow the Hatters.
