It`s always good to see those who leave Kenilworth Road to play at a higher level make a success of their career.

Luton Town supporters took Andre Gray to their hearts when he arrived at Kenilworth Road from non-league football.

The striker had a knack for finding the target and it was no surprise when other clubs came knocking at the door.

Brentford were the club lucky to secure his services before, in August 2015, he moved to Burnley.

Since joining Burnley, Gray has continued to see his career prosper and playing in the Championship he has netted 24 goals in 39 Championship games.

Last night, up in Manchester, Gray was named as the Championship Player of the Year, winning the award against some stiff opposition.

Here at Vital Luton Town we`d like to offer the former Hatter our congratulations and we`ll continue to monitor his progress as he heads towards a shot at the Premier League.
