I had hoped that with the Hatters achieving back-to-back promotions and getting ready to play Championship football next season, speculation relating to the possible departure of James Justin would be less prolific this summer.

Sadly, that hasn’t proven to be the case.

Already this summer, Click Here, we’ve reported on how the young defender, wanted by Leicester City, has, quite probably, the hardest decision of his young life to make.

Today, with the speculation continuing to link Justin with a move away from the club, the local media source, the Leicester Mercury, reports that Leicester City are confident that they can sign our 21-year-old midfielder, whilst also beating off any interest from Celtic for his signature.

Seemingly, all that remains to be sorted is the size of the fee with our referenced source mentioning a figure of £7.5 million for the exciting left-sided player.

Sat here in the editorial chair, I’m sincerely hoping this talk all comes to nothing, but I just have this gut-wrenching feeling it won’t and that, despite our back-to-back promotions, the next time we’ll see James Justin at Kenilworth Road will be in a Leicester City shirt!
