With the list of potential successors to the axed Graeme Jones growing by the day, yesterday we covered the possibility of the Chelsea youth coach Andy Myers, taking over the position.

Our article – and-another-candidate-emerges-as-a-potential-answer-to-luton-towns-managerial-problem – was also accompanied by a poll asking you for your thoughts on the possible appointment.

It would appear that Myers taking over at Kenilworth Road doesn’t appeal to you with 63% voting for the NO THANKS option.

Only a mere 17% thought Myers should be given the role voting for the YES option.

As for the remaining 20%, they couldn’t make their minds up and went for the UNDECIDED option.

Of those who took time out to express an opinion, the main perceived problem with any such appointment was Myers’ lack of experience as a manager.

It was felt that it would be too high a risk to give someone who has no experience as a #1 to take charge of a Championship team.

They are, I feel, both valid points but it’ll certainly be interesting to keep a watch on how Myers progresses in the game, he could go on to make a real impression or his career could go the other way.
