This afternoon, down at Kenilworth Road, Luton Town welcome Wrexham in an FA Trophy tie.

Wrexham who, like us, have a proud history and who, like us, are looking to make a much-welcomed return to the Football League, are the current holders of the FA Trophy.

Now I get the impression that Luton, under John Still, aren`t exactly classifying the FA Trophy as their priority this season with Still prepared to field a very young starting eleven in the earlier round and also this one.

However, Wrexham appear to be taking the competition far more seriously and ahead of the game their boss, Andy Morrell has remarked to the media,

“We try to go as far as we can in every competition but the league is the priority.”

“We`ve given ourselves a big mountain to climb to get out of this league. But there are still plenty of games and plenty of opportunities to do that.”

So, on second thoughts, perhaps both of us do have the same priority, never mind though, these cup games can be such fun!
