Upon the completion of the 2016 / 2017 season, despite making thirty-nine appearances, thirty-three as a starter, Stephen O`Donnell was released by Luton Town Football Club.

Today it has been announced that the 25-year-old has found a new club.

The Scot, an U21 Scottish international, has joined Kilmarnock putting pen-to-paper on a three-year-deal.

O`Donnell was with the Hatters for two-years, joining from Partick Thistle.

Commenting on signing the former Hatter, the Kilmarnock manager, Lee McCulloch, has remarked,

‘Totally delighted.

‘I see this as a real coup for the club.

‘He has shown that he can play very well in this league and has gained invaluable experience down in England and will fit in well with the club’s playing style.

‘He’s an athletic player that wants to get better every day.’

As for O`Donnell, he`s quoted as having remarked about the move back to north of the border,

‘I’ll give 100% for the club and will be looking to get forward at every opportunity.

‘I want to play every week and play good, entertaining football.’

Here at Vital Luton Town we wish Stephen all the best in his new career with Kilmarnock.
