Luton Town`s promotion drive, in League Two, is placed on hold this weekend as the Hatters chase glory in the FA Cup.

The draw, held back in December, gave the Hatters a plum 3rd round tie away to Newcastle United of the Premier League.

Ahead of the tie we`ve assembled some early team news.

Starting with our hosts Newcastle:

Rafael Benitez is expected to shuffle his squad with the retention of their Premier League status a priority over the FA Cup.

However, Newcastle United have the following trio unavailable through injury Chancel Mbemba, Florian Leieune and Jesus Gamez who have knee, foot and ankle injuries respectively.

Benitez could give a rare start to his young goalkeeper Freddie Woodman who was part of the England U20 World Cup winning squad.

Continuing with Luton Town:

Nathan Jones could select both Elliot and Ollie Lee for this fixture, their father Rob, played I a strange quirk of fate, for Newcastle United.

After his red-card, last Saturday, against Lincoln City, Alan Sheehan is suspended for the game.
