Following on from the news that Justin James had put pen-to-paper on a new deal, Luton Town Football Club have confirmed that another of the first-team squad has done similar.

This time the player who has put-pen-to-paper on a new deal is the Hatters midfielder Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu.

Mpanzu has put pen-to-paper on a deal that secures his future at Kenilworth Road until 2020.

The deal also has an option of a further year.

Mpanzu joined the Hatters, from West Ham United back in 2013 / 2014 when the Hatters were in the Conference.

Although his time with Luton was blighted early in his spell with the Hatters, the 23-year has now become an integral part of the side.

Talking about the new deal, Mpanzu remarked to the official site,

‘I can’t wait to get started again and hopefully we can get promotion this season.

‘Last year was a bit of a disappointment at the end, but we know we can turn it around.”

Here`s hoping May 2018 is a far happier time.
