After three consecutive League Two victories, the Hatters has to settle for a draw against Morecambe, in an encounter that was, despite the lack of goals, entertaining.

The draw means that Luton slip out of the automatic promotion places to occupy fifth place in the League Two table.

The first half saw both sides create chances with the Morecambe goalkeeper, Barry Roche, producing some fine saves to deny Harry Cornick and also from Dan Potts who unleashed a fierce volley from ten-yards out.

Marek Stech was also called into action when, at full stretch, he tipped over the bar an effort from Adam Campbell. Further chances, created by Morecambe, saw Stech smother an effort from Vadaine Oliver before looking relieved when Steve Old managed to guide, with his head, a decent free-kick from Rose.

The second forty-five minutes saw more of the same with Morecambe trying their luck from range, but the best chance to win the game came late on when a looping header from the Morecambe substitute, Callum Lung, just went the wrong side of the bar.

No goals but a decent match, but a damn long drive home to Bedfordshire!
