In a little less than an hour, as I type, Luton Town will resume their Championship campaign.

The delights of an epic FA Cup tie, even if we did lose, are now consigned to the memory banks and it is time to concentrate on our bread-and-butter, the Championship.

Against Chelsea, Nathan Jones rotated his squad, a clear indication that out of the two competitions, the gaffer believes clinching a play-off place, and a potential tilt at glory, is for more important.

Middlesbrough have been revived since Chris Wilder took over and the Hatters face a real challenge to take points off a side that are rivals for one of those aforementioned Championship play-off places.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to reveal the team sheets thereby answering those questions about who starts.

Starting with our hosts, Middlesbrough:

Continuing with Luton Town:

As for the officials, look no further:

Referee – Jeremy Simpson
Assistant Referee – Andrew Fox
Assistant Referee – Matthew McGrath
Fourth Official – Tom Nield

Getting back to winning ways after the disappointment of being knocked out of the FA Cup, against Chelsea, would suit me fine.

Team OK wish Berry was in from the start though. Not confident with palmer in goal never having played with the team. Hope I’m wrong but expecting a disaster.

  • Alan says:

Blimey , all doom again. Jesus……….. doubt berry is fully fit enough for 2 starts in 4 days just yet……

    • Chris winter says:

Sorry Alan, just don’t feel it’s fair on either keeper. The rules are shit. But take your point about Berry. If you’ve seen my previous posts about the situation then you can see where I’m coming from.

  • Alan says:

3 more injuries, more worrying than the result……other scores didn’t affect us to much, so dust ourselves down and go again Tuesday…coyh

  • Chris winter says:

What did I say keeper beaten at near post should have got that a draw would have been a fair result.

is it time for some young players to be given a try. get the players fully fit, not worth risking ,.hard team today, boro played dirty, but a win is all that matters. looks like they have had boxing lessons. on wards and upwards. COYH.
