The Hatters are on a roll at this moment, their form has picked up and we`re all looking forward to a big push for promotion, as the season progresses.

On Saturday, the Hatters entertained Newport County, in a League Two fixture, beating the side from South Wales 3-1.

Two of those goals were scored by Danny Hylton, our top-scorer last season.

But it seems that on Saturday, one fortunate young supporter left Kenilworth Road with a special memento of the game.

During the pre-match warm-up, it appears that an eight-year-old girl was, quite accidentally, hit in the face by the ball.

True to his word Danny did just that with the young girl`s dad remarking to the local media,

‘True to his word, he did just that after the final whistle. Mr Hylton, you are a true gentleman.’

He certainly is and that young girl has a treasured memento that many would envy.
