Earlier this week, here on Vital Luton Town, I asked an intriguing question.
An article asked – just-one-more-signing – with the offering also containing a poll relating to the pertinent subject, a poll which read –
Will Luton Sign Another Player Before Deadline Day?
And contained a straight choice of answers:
• YES
or
• NO
Although there has been no transfer speculation emerging relating to such a deal and with transfer deadline day fast approaching, 70% of those that voted went for the YES option, with the remaining 30% going for the NO option.
Now, I am not sure if Nathan Jones and his backroom team will get another deal especially as the gaffer has already confirmed if another deal is to be done then it must be for a special player.
Therefore, would it be churlish to ask those who opted for the YES option to perhaps drop us a name or two of who it might be?

Good call Tom. I heard we were interested in him in January but it didn’t happen.
This guy was heavily linked to us last year. And has his fans on here. Me included. But I think the bus has gone on him. I would have imagined we would have got him earlier than this if we really wanted him. An I think Campbell is what we have gone with..
Campbell hasn’t made the impact I hoped he would, perhaps its early days still although it should be said he can’t do it all by himself!
I think Campbell has done ok for us. He’s one of those who isn’t spectacular but he does the ugly stuff. He sits players down in their own half and breaks up play there yet covers a lot of turf and also tackles back.
Morning lads would be nice to get another midfielder in someone who can protect the back four as I am not a fan of Rea I also think we lack width in the team hope to god Jones gets his team selection right this weekend
Once we have all of our centre halves fit I would like to see Naismith take the role of DM,protecting back four. Defensively strong,comfortable coming out with the ball and good ball distribution…much better option than Rea
certainly an attacking, creative midfielder who can link up play between defence and attack. hard to find a good one though, but there’s always younger talent in the premier to get on loan.
I have thought for along time Naismith in that role , break up play and move it forward . Not too sure what is needed but we still have to let the new players settle in so I would hold off till January if we need someone then .
So Elliott Lee has joined Charlton on loan for the season. Surprised its only a loan though. Nj obviously no longer wants him it seems. Expect its to free up space for an incoming.

i am a big kyle dempsey fan. he would be a great signing. tough as old boots. why the f**k is lee on loan. should have put ruddock out on loan. would love to see naismith and lansbury play as a route through to fred and elijah on the left, and cornick on the right. i expect the team to be what no one thinks. can’t wait.COYH
