Manager Kevin Blackwell has no new injury worries and Jarek Fojut and David Bell have recovered from minor injuries to be back in the squad.

Luton will be looking to maintain their fine home form and three points are looking vital if they are to mount a serious challenge to those teams above the relegation zone.

Luton currently lie 6 points behind the first position of safety.

Luton will, however be without Marc Wilson who has returned to Portsmouth due to the transfer embargo on teams in administration; Luton were unable to extend his loan period.

Anthony Grant and Jaraslav Fojut look set to return to their clubs when their loan deals end on 5 January for the same reason.

Player sales by the administrators could add to Blackwell’s woes and it will be very difficult surviving after the tenm point deduction left us rock bottom.

Blackwell said on www.lutontown.co.uk: “I understand we have got to be punished. But they talk about the football family only to kick us when we’re down. The Football League have shown no compassion whatsoever.

“I would have to question whether they want clubs to survive. I would have to ask whether they are prepared to see clubs go to streamline the league.”
