The Hatters are back in action, this lunchtime, with a home fixture against high-flying Swansea City.

Our opponents currently sit in third position in the Championship table challenging our neighbours, Watford, for that crucial second automatic promotion place which would secure Premier League football next season.

After the disappointment of losing last time out, 3-0 away to Norwich City, the Luton Town support will be hoping that their side can get something from this fixture and get revenge for the defeat inflicted by the Welsh side in the reciprocating fixture earlier this season.

With the kick-off looming large and with a Sky Sports audience ready to view the game live, we are now able to bring you the team sheets.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors Swansea City:

Here’s hoping the Hatters can get something from this game to consolidate their mid-table position in the Championship table.

Morning mh, interesting team cornick an adebayo hope they combine as well today as they did last time. Just have to hope we don’t concede early

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all, yet again woeful defending at the start. Keeper should have done better. Playing well but nobody supporting adebayo for his flick ons. An over hitting to many dead balls.

  • Paul says:

Apart from the obligatory early give away goal, due again to poor defending.
I think we are playing well, Adebayo causing all sorts of problems.
I think we can still get something from this.

    Hope Potts is ok.

  • Alistair says:

Yes MH let’s hope Potts is just precautionary. Pity about the start but it happens so much now its almost expected. Would like to see Collins come on & pair up with Adebayo. We can still do this COYH

  • Chris winter says:

Coulder woulder shoulder disappointing. Not a pen. Kdh mom. Another Paul mclaren a crab sorry but disappointing.

  • Paul says:

MOM, Naismith for me, thought he was very composed on the ball, creative, and kept Ayew out of the game.

  • Alistair says:

If only matches were won on possession alone, sometimes this game is so cruel, one mistake at this level is all it takes isn’t it. I think now that the Coventry game is a virtual must win or we could be sucked back into the relegation quagmire, having said that we have just outplayed a top side & only lost through lack of finishing & aforementioned error, need to start converting all these chances. A couple of quick wins to safety would be just what the doctor ordered.

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all does anyone think like me that adebayo needs someone to play along side of him so many flick ons an nobody near him!! Shades of Danny hylton of old about him. Why is it he ends up isolated all the time. Anyone agree

  • Alan says:

Hylts with adebayo could work too…..worth ago maybe Tuesday…..played well today ,,think the weather assisted their goal, another day Pearson would have dealt with it….
Same as last week, we could well have gone 1 up….the performance bodes well for the run in tho….Naismith is proving to be a good signing, after a dodgy first few games…bring on coventry….2 or 3 wins & we will be fine….

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, I have no worries about our position at the end of the season. I think we need to rethink about who plays up front as we just aren’t connected. Personally I can’t see adebayo an hylton together unless hylton is the target an hold up player an adebayo feeds off him I can’t see it working the other way round myself. I just think Ince with his touch around the box a better option. Kdh for me at the moment is lacking confidence he’s becoming a mclaren a real crab.

  • Alan says:

I’ve said myself a few weeks ago( when others were on pellys back) KDH isnt firing as he was when he 1st came here & should be benched for a while….

  • Chris winter says:

Hi mh, yes a big improvement settling down nicely now. So you think moncs for kdh just have to see what nj thinks. I suspect he won’t drop him after previous comments. But I live in hope

  • Paul says:

Must give Jordan Clark a mention, another one improving game by game.
I still think pearson’s lack of pace is an issue, and i’m not missing Bradley.
Sluga also needs to do better.

I will await the backlash 🙂

  • Alan says:

Hi all, I think pearson got caught out by the weather for the goal…but the thought of Naismith & lockyer at centre backs is reassuring…not sure if slug can be to much at fault for the goal, as, once again he is left exposed…..shame nobody threw them selves in after Adebayor late header….think some of our former forwards would have got on the end of it before the keeper gathered it….still on to Tuesday…..
