The fixtures, in the 2020 / 2021 Championship season, continue to come at a frantic pace.

Hard-on-the-heels of a trip to Stoke, last weekend, Luton welcome Millwall to Kenilworth Road, this Tuesday evening.

There is no denying that the performances in the last two games, Cardiff City (h) and Stoke City (a) left a lot to be desired and the Hatters support are hoping that Nathan Jones can engineer an emergence from this recent slump.

Millwall will provide stiff opposition and the Hatters cannot afford to be as lacklustre as they have been in recent games, otherwise it will, surely, end in a third defeat on the bounce.

With the kick-off fast approaching and with the game available for viewing on Sky Sports, we are now able to bring you the team sheets, with the Luton one probably the most anticipated one for a while.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with Millwall:

A win would do us all wonders, let us hope that is what the game produces.

Supporters have got what they have been screaming for…….

  • Mad Hatter says:

They have 6 changes = wholesale – let’s hope it brings a result

Hi all, maybe nj reads vital luton 😁 anyway as long as this team gives a performance I’ll be happy. As win lose or draw nothing can be as the dross we have seen in the last 2 games.

  • Danny says:

evening all, wow, fair play Nathan, looking forward to seeing Ince & Adebayo linking up and Morrell showing what he can do. Hopefully today’s the day for Naismith too.

Fair play the nj for ringing the changes, hope it works out. Could restart our season….would have liked moncur in for Naismith or tunicliffe tho…but let’s see.
    ..

    • Danny says:

Hi Alan, yes i too would of preferred Moncs to Tunnicliffe, perhaps as it’s Millwall that swung it in Tunnicliffe’s favour

  • Danny says:

yep fingers crossed MH, still shocked he actually made SIX changes, Tunnicliffe should be at it tonight with a point to prove against his former club

Hi all, well I’m sure we all agree we look much better so far. I hope they don’t bring Smith on for Millwall. Naismith still struggling though.

  • Ray says:

I don’t understand the Ince substitution.

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all, everything going well until he brought rae on. After that we got deeper an deeper. Then he subs the two forwards an throws on his usual suspects. Then as I said at half time Smith does us again!!!!

  • Paul says:

How many times does Bradley get beaten in the air in the box, does he not know you have to jump?
then he turns around when the balls in the net and waves his arms at the other players.
All going well until Jones put his favourite boys on, then it cost us again.

Morning all, so reflections after last night. We don’t need to play the usual suspects every game or on rotation. Adebayo while still a very rough diamond was able to cope with the roughest toughest defence in the division in the nicest sense they hadn’t conceded a headed goal all season yet he got foul after foul given. Other defences won’t be so hard for him. Ince has good passing abilities round the box an when we get used to him things will improve. We coped well for most of the game Morrell in midfield an cranie in defence solid as the rest of the team was. Then on comes rea an we fall deeper an deeper in defence. Then the rest come on an we crumble. Says it all really. Nj must give the same starting 11 the chance to go again Saturday for me. Its Sheffield Wednesday an we have to win that. With only 6 teams within 2 pts of us above us at this time of writing. It can make a big difference

  • Alan says:

Hi all, agree chris, starting 11 again sat. Think moncur should been on once ince came off. Good game time for many players….shouldn’t have tried holding the ball in the corners as we are awful at it…..as for collo on the equaliser, in that situation, just try and jump with the attacker, dont stand and let him gave free header.bree did they same Saturday….basic defending…that’s why Adebayor didnt score with his header, cos there player, knew he couldn’t win the header, but did enough by jumping….still 100% better than Saturday…need same showing this Saturday now……

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, I agree about taking the ball into the corner was poor tactics. And didn’t realise it was collo who was defending an your right. Must admit adebayo impressed if raw at the moment. Does he remind you of showumni remember him!!!

  • Alan says:

Ahh, enoch,,, who can forget….yeah I’m the same he is raw, but he is strong and looks to have bit of pace about him….think he should have 3 or 4 games see how he goes….

    • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, I agree now is the time to give him Ince Morrell a run of games an as you have said moncs as well

      • Mad Hatter says:

It is it was so much better last night, until we opted to waste time and got what we deserved, strange how Jones had a go at the officials for the amount of stoppage time, it hurt us but I’d prefer it to happen more often in the game, too much time-wasting for my likelihood

    • Mad Hatter says:

I agree, give the lad a chance!

  • Alistair says:

Hi all, yes much much better with the changes until the usual suspects came on. Referring to Chris’s comment about NJ reading the comments on here, I totally agree, think he could learn a thing or two from us lol 😂. But fair play at least he tried something different & hopefully it will continue & as some here have already stated give one or two others fitness pending a chance as well. Also perhaps the old guard might not take their names automatically being first on the team sheet so much for granted now & step up their game. Such a shame we couldn’t hold on though but at least Sheffield Wed & Coventry lost last night although we still have much less rope to play with than we did a month ago but if we can start playing like this now till the end of the season then there will be a cause for greater optimism for us I feel picking up points more regularly, of course if we could improve on keeping 1-0 leads it would help unless of course we start finding our scoring boots again which is very possible if we can maintain Tuesday nights level.
