The first Championship game, involving the Hatters, since the January transfer window slammed shut, has the Luton support eagerly awaiting the announcement of the starting eleven.

Although Kal Naismith has already made his Luton debut, after being signed earlier in the transfer window, it remains to be seen whether the two deadline day signings, Tom Ince and Elijah Adebayo start.

My guess is that one may heave to be content with a place on the bench.

The Hatters enter this fixture just one place in the table and one point better off than their opponents although Huddersfield Town have played a game more than us.

After the controversial defeat, last weekend, away to Blackburn Rovers, the Luton support will be hoping their side has more of the rub of the green this time when it comes to the decision making of the officials.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team sheets and answer the question we posed earlier in this article.

Hi all, for me wrong wrong wrong. Ince should have started. But if he gets on I expect him to score.

Hi all, diabolical defending yet again!!! Why is ince not on we need an outlet an a bit of class

  • Paul says:

Wrong starting team, same defensive errors, changes made too late. Get Shea back in goal.
Am I the only one that doesn’t rate Sluga?

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Paul, I agree with you on team an defence an still think there is little difference between sluga an shea both have strong an weak points so it doesn’t matter who is in goal. It’s defensive frailties that concerns me

Reality time boys, this is NOW a relegation battle….the gap between us and the third relegation place is dwindling fast…yeah we hit the post twice, but the unlucky card needs to be forgotten…..we need wins and quick….huddersfield at home should be a cert….sorry but true…

Hi Alan, I agree with you in my pre game comment I said wrong team. An wrong tactics this was a team for the taking an yet again we let ourselves down. Subs used far to late even if Ince needs game time. Either should have started him an gave him an hour or put him on after an hour. But Nathan needs a reality check. An mick or someone needs to drum it into him. That he’s getting it wrong
