This evening the Hatters faithful will venture down to Kenilworth Road hoping that Luton can put an end to a run that has seen them lose three games on the bounce.

The run of three defeats, against Barnet (a), Stevenage (h) and Accrington Stanley (h) has left Luton`s hopes of making the League Two promotion play-offs in tatters.

But there is the small matter of pride to play for, even more so wen Nathan Jones is taking a long hard look at the squad to see who should be kept on for next season as, in our third season back in the Football League we`ll be looking to climb another division.

Our opponents tonight are Dagenham and Redbridge, a side embroiled in a scrap to survive in the Football League, currently Dagenham and Redbridge are a massive 11 points adrift of safety.

However, the Essex side at Kenilworth Road tonight with somebody in charge who the Luton Town faithful owe a lot to.

After being surprisingly axed by the Hatters hierarchy it was, perhaps, inevitable that John Still would make a romantic return to the club where he made his reputation.

Tonight I expect two things, as our season heads towards its conclusion:-

1 – A rare Hatters win!

And

2 – The Kenilworth Road crowd to give a standing ovation to the man that finally ended our exile from League Football, John Still.

Come on you Hatters!
