Luton v Charlton

Charlton Athletic are the visitors in the Carling Cup this evening.

David Forde has returned to Cardiff and Dean Brill will return between the sticks.

It had been stated that Luton have a full squad to choose from.

This is puzzling since the manager has stated over the last couple of days that Peschisolido and Hutchinson have been out injured and keith Keane is still nursing a stomach strain.

It is difficult to predict whether Blackwell will put out his first choice team or rest a few of the older players as he did for the JPT match agaisnt Northampton.

Matt Holland, Yassin Moutaouakil and Svetoslav Todorov are all close to full fitness and could feature for Charlton, but Chris Powell, Danny Mills, Andy Reid and Chris Iwelumo are all candidates for a rest in what is not seen as that important a competition.
