Luton Town completed the signing of another new player tonight on the pitch ahead of the FA Cup replay against Corby town.

Jason Walker, 26, a regular goalscorer for Barrow, has signed Like Alex Lawless, like Lawless, initially on loan until JAnusry but will then join permanently for an undisclosed fee in a contract up to the end of the 10011/12 season.

Walker would have been out of contract at the end of the season and had indicated that he was unlikely to sign a new one at Barrow, so the Hatters moved in with an offer which the Cumbrians could not turn down and watch him walk away for nothing at the end of his contract.

It is reported that a number of clubs had shown an interest but Money moved swiftly to capture the player.

Walker has scored more goals in a fairly average side than any Hatters player this season with 11 from 18 games.

Stevenage whatever-they are currently-called will remember him well. Jason scored the winner against them at Wembley in the Trophy final!

He will wear the squad number 23 and will be available for League games immediately, but again like Lawless, he is cup tied having already featured in the FA Cup for BArrow.
