Although the Hatters have invested heavily in attacking talent this summer, most notably Cauley Woodrow and Carlton Morris, another signing is soon to be announced.

Earlier this month, here at Vital Luton Town, we ran an article – interest-in-teenage-striker-set-to-come-to-fruition-claim – implying that a deal was close to being struck for the Canadian Premier League striker, Aribim Pepple.

Our article mentioned that the prolific young striker, on the books of Cavalry FC, had been given leave to travel overseas, possibly to discuss a transfer.

Yesterday, it appeared any possible deal had moved a lot closer with Football Insider 24/7 reporting that the youngster was set to sign a three-year deal with the Hatters.

Although nothing official has appeared yet, there is so much noise relating to the deal we’re of the belief that it will be confirmed early this coming week.

However, it remains to be seen whether Pepple is immediately integrated into the Luton set-up or whether he’ll be loaned out for a season to get valuable game time.

We can but wait and see but which path do you see the youngster treading next season?

I know all’s fair in love and football but if we loan him out FGR would be a good choice as we nicked him off them. That is providing they will give him regular game time to gain EFL experience.

Bill see my previous posts. About this subject. I suspect you will find that he’s immediately loaned out for the season to forest Green. As a sop for knicking him off them. Unless he stays at calvary till the end of their season in November.

As my previous post, Pepple will be Luton player by Wednesday. Leaving him with Cavalry is of no use he needs EFL experience. I think he will be within the 1st team squad and as Eli he may be an instant hit. I think he will be one of the subs and be in dev squad. With all due respect, FGR do not have the same coaching calibre that Luton have so stay and improve, integrate and then penetrate.
