The Hatters are back in Championship action this afternoon when they welcome Stoke City, to Kenilworth Road.

After a two-week break, courtesy of international football, the Luton Town support will be hoping their side can continue the good early season form that sees them currently occupying a play-off place in the Championship table.

The game today, although being played behind-closed-doors has that little bit of added extra spice with Nathan Jones keen to get one over the club he left Luton Town for and was, after a run of poor form, subsequently sacked.

With the Hatters making seven signings in the summer transfer window and with three of them coming in the last forty-eight hours, it will be interesting to see who makes Nathan Jones starting eleven.

However, with the kick-off fast approaching, we can now end any discussions relating to that topic by revealing the team-sheets:

Starting with the Hatters:

Continuing with our visitors, Stoke City:

Ahead of the game, in our regular poll, 77% reckon Luton will win, 3% reckon Stoke City will win with 20% believing it will end in a draw.

Fingers crossed that the majority are right and the three points on offer will be coming our way.

Hi all, bit disappointing, think we deserved a point at least…roll on Tuesday put this result to bed…

I think we deserved a point too but as was mentioned the other day any injuries up front would leave us very bare & hey presto Collins doesn’t start due to this problem. Also should have included suspensions & Hylts getting a yellow didn’t help our cause either as he had to tread on eggshells after that. Perhaps the new signing from the plastic club in Bucks could come to our rescue but not convinced personally as he is far from the finished article from what I hear.

Hi al, totally agree mate…time will tell…although in fairness their keeper played well and obviously he can only do that if if chances are created against him…
