After the euphoria of the 4-4 draw, away to Newcastle United, last time out, it has been a strange kind of week.

I’ve been virtually bed-ridden after a heavy head-cold decided it would travel south and take up residence in and around my lungs.

Writing was the last thing on my mind and for the lack of recent content I can only apologise.

But after, for once, obeying the wife and resting, I’m back, semi-fit and hoping to pick up the reins again.

This afternoon, the Hatters welcome Chris Wilder and Sheffield United, to Kenilworth Road, for a crucial Premier League fixture.

After our heroics of the past few weeks, it is a fixture we need to win, we need to grab the three points available against a side who are entrenched in a relegation battle, even more so with our next two Premier League games being against Manchester United (h) and Liverpool (a).

With the ‘Sold-Out’ signs, once again, displayed at Kenilworth Road and with the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the confirmed team-sheets.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors, Sheffield United:

As for those officiating, look no further:

Referee – Chris Kavanagh
Assistant Referee – James Mainwaring
Assistant Referee – Mark Scholes
Fourth Official – Lewis Smith
VAR – Paul Tierney
VAR Assistant – Steve Meredith

Here’s hoping the Hatters can grab all three points and continue their rise up the Premier League tale.

Sorry but I don’t see us coming back from this.worst thing to happen all season.

So yet again same old story we play like champions against the big teams then struggle against the dross. It has to change if we are to survive

  • Ray says:

It seems they did to us what we normally do to others. Defend then break. It shows that it’s not how much possession you have but what you do with it. Was always worried when we became favourites to win. Such a great opportunity to open up a gap. We’ll just have to keep the faith
