Today marks a significant point in a return to some kind of normality since the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our lives, the pubs are re-opening.

Now, if only football was to allow spectators back into the grounds again then normality would be almost the buzz word.

But, I fear, it isn’t going to happen for many a month.

Instead, we have to support the Hatters from afar and hope that, playing in an empty stadium, the players can get motivated enough to do the club justice.

This afternoon, with every point vital in our fight to remain in the Championship, Luton Town welcome Reading for a fixture we’d just love to see Nathan Jones get three points from.

But, as we’ve found out this season, the Championship is a hard task master and we mustn’t take anything for granted.

      Hi Alan, yes that was an after the Lord mayor’s show performance sadly. But what was the problem was it to many games in to short time. Not enough strength in depth. Energy levels poor. Can’t really see why they were so poor.

    Hi all,really don’t know what happened there. Collo hitting the bar, penalty shout at 0.0…then went to pieces….can only play the percentage game…had we lost at leeds as kinda expected & drawn today, it doesn’t seem as bad….anyway must win next 2 now…onwards and upwards…

      Barnsley lost, Wigan lost, Huddersfield drew, so its not all bad, but the pressure is certainly cranking up now

    Hi all, as you say mh next 2 games become 9 pointers. Such a shame after the first 3 games. Just don’t know what to make of the performance
