The Hatters are back in action tonight when they welcome Oxford United to Kenilworth Road, for an EFL Championship fixture.

Many are viewing this fixture as a must-win game, which seems strange considering it is only the eighth league game of the season.

But, since dropping into the EFL Championship, the Hatters form has been poor and the support need Rob Edwards side to buck the trend that has seen Luton Town win just two of their opening seven games.

Back in August, nobody predicted that with seven games gone we’d be lingering in nineteenth place in the table, just two points off a relegation place.

Once again, Kenilworth Road will be full to capacity hoping the Hatters can get back to winning ways, even more so with a difficult looking trip to Sheffield United next on the horizon.

With the kick-off fast approaching we are now able to bring you the confirmed team sheets.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors, Oxford United:

Referee – James Bell
Assistant Referee – Hristo Karaivanov
Assistant Referee – Shaun Hudson
Fourth Official – Oliver Langford

Fingers crossed that the support get the performance they crave tonight otherwise the social media sites will be alive for all the wrong reasons tomorrow.

Hang on in there Joe Taylor. The next manager will play you when this muppet has been sacked.

Yet again Mr Edwards gives an uniemotional interview with all the usual platitudes sorry but nice guys win nothing. I want to see a manager who is passionate angry a Sean dyche telling people how it is when players are below expectations and does something about it. This simply isn’t good enough.
