A second home game, in a matter of days, awaits the Hatters today as they welcome Huddersfield Town to Kenilworth Road.

On Wednesday, Luton thrilled the home support with an emphatic 5-0 victory against high-flying Coventry City, could we be in for a repeat of that kind of performance again today?

That win, on Wednesday, lifted Luton up to 9th in the Championship table while our opponents, this afternoon, Huddersfield currently occupy 7th position, a win today could see Luton climb above the Terriers on goal difference.

With the injury situation among the Luton squad still ongoing, it remains to be seen whether Nathan Jones can introduce a few fresh legs or will stick with the eleven who served him so well in that exhilarating first half against Coventry City.

However, with the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team sheets.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors Huddersfield Town:

As for the officials, look no further:

Referee – Leigh Doughty
Assistant Referee – Nick Greenhalgh
Assistant Referee – Bhupinder Gill
Fourth Official – Paul Howard

Three more points please.

  • Alan says:

Wednesday everything dropped for us. Today it didn’t. 4 points in 2 games not to shabby though….

Hi Alan, OK things didn’t drop for us but how often does that happen!!.. Nj said after that teams shut up shop now when they come here an unlike div 1 an 2 we still haven’t learned how to kill teams off. So what’s the solution? Maybe we have to spend to get that killer forward. That can get us the wins instead of draws? Wish I knew.

If we knew we would be managers….they did their homework on us big time, 1st half especially. Bell’s chance goes in and its a different game….conditions didn’t make it easy for either side. Let’s not forget they are a decent side….not happy with mattys play acting in the 18 yard box in 2nd half. Some refs may a have given a pen there and he knew it. Once he knew it was a free kick his way he got straight back up….thought he was better than that, but hey ho modern game I guess…

don’t matter how hard you train, you still need a bit of luck.they are a good side, but the miss would have changed the game.get the players fit and try again. when they are all fit ,what a difficult choice for n.j. looking forward to it. what has happened with pereira any one know. strange how the weather affected lockyers floated passing, was a pleasure to watch on wednesday. to be fair it affected everyone.i think we have killer forwards, they just need game time. stay positive.COYH.
