The Hatters continue their quest to achieve back-to-back promotions this afternoon when they welcome Doncaster Rovers, to Kenilworth Road, for a League One fixture.
On the back of a 25-game unbeaten run, the Hatters have stormed to the top of the table and, as I write, have a five-point lead over second place Barnsley.
But with Barnsley playing in the lunch-time kick-off, taking on Walsall in an away game, the Hatters lead could be reduced to two points if Barnsley, on an 18-game unbeaten run, as we expect, beat the Saddlers.
If that is the case, then the pressure will be on Luton Town to take the three points on offer to restore their advantage.
But Doncaster Rovers will be up for the challenge knowing they have a chance of playing a part in the promotion shake-up by finishing in the play-off places.
