It’s crunch time, do or die time as the Hatters take on Barnsley, at Kenilworth Road, this evening.

If Luton are to retain their Championship status, nothing less than a win will suffice against a Barnsley side who are, to coin a phrase, in the same boat as us.

Last time out, both sides were beaten heavily, Luton were thrashed 5-0 by reading (at Kenilworth Road) while Barnsley were beaten 4-0 away to Stoke City.

The loser tonight is, in my opinion, as good as down, the result is that important.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets.

Starting with our beloved Hatters who line up as below:

Continuing with our visitors, Barnsley:

I’ve got my fingers crossed that after the disappointment of Saturday afternoon, we’ll all have smiles on our faces come 20:00 hours tonight and that survival dream will live on.

Hi all, sadly not the result we wanted think now. We may need to reassess and give players like kioso a go ready for next season

Hi all, I’m still hoping, but think chris is right, start looking at next season, but that could release some pressure and produce some positive results….

Hi Alan, that’s the point I was making as you say now try playing the others wether we stay up or go down. Let’s see who’s worth keeping an going again next season

Hi all, think there will be a major rebuild, if/when we drop. I would imagine someone will want slug after recent performances, Collins, Carter vickers, pelly, cornick maybe a couple of others, are probably better than league 1. Even bree is a much better player under NJ, so I would think all the loan players wont fancy signing for us in a league lower….
