Luton Town Tipped To Beat Millwall

Before the latest, and last, international break of the season came, the Hatters were, despite a lengthy injury list, in fine form.

Hopefully, with Millwall the visitors this weekend, that fine form can continue as we close in on a promotion play-off place.

But with Millwall also pressing for a promotion play-off place, what is the consensus of opinion when it comes to the result of the game?

Well, according to our regular pre-match poll, the Luton support are confident the Hatters will emerge victorious with 64% going for the win option.

As for the other options, 25% went for a Millwall win and the remaining 11% went for the draw.

But how does Sky Sports resident Championship expert, David Prutton, see this one going?

Ahead of the game, Prutton had this to say about the fixture:

“Luton are third in the Championship table. It is really, genuinely incredible what Nathan Jones and his side have done this season. I can’t praise them highly enough.

“Millwall’s unbeaten run came to an end at Stoke before the international break. They are four points off the play-offs now and with so much going on around them this is a must-win game to keep their hopes alive. Having said that, I just can’t back against Luton right now.”

Prutton reckons Luton will win 1-0.

Now I’d willingly take that result, even if it does mean a nervous afternoon at Kenilworth Road, how about you?

How do you see this one finishing?

Hi mh, I think at this stage of the season it’s only results that matter not how well we play. An I will happily take a result over performance. Wouldn’t you.

I’ll take anything that gets us nearer to a play-off appearance, dodgy goal, dodgy offside, dodgy penalty, anything 🙂
