October 2024, as far as the Hatters performances in the EFL Championship, is concerned, has been a very mixed month.
With November fast approaching, the month of October saw Luton Town pick up just 4 points out of the 15 points available with a run of results that reads – DLWLL
Although the solitary win in those five games was against our local rivals, Watford, the disappointing form has, as October draws to a close, left the Hatters occupying one of the three relegation places in the EFL Championship table and, once again, the pressure is starting to build as to whether Rob Edwards tenure as our manager could be coming to an end.
But, if anybody is hoping that November could be a better month for the Hatters, all I can see is a hard, dificult fixture laden 30 days.
Although there the third international break of the season to look forward to (not), Luton Town are in action on six ocassions, scheduled to play 3 home fixtures and 3 away fixtures, with the schedule reproduced below:
• Friday 1st November – West Bromwich Albion (h)
• Wednesday 6th November – Cardiff City (h)
• Saturday 9th November – Middlesbrough (a)
• Saturday 23rd November – Hull City (h)
• Wednesday 27th November – Leeds United (a)
• Saturday 30th November Norwich City (a)
With our current form, disappointing to say the least, it’s difficult to predict how many points Luton Town will accumulate out of the 18 available, especially with the 3 tough away trips to ponder over.
But, although there are several contributing factors to consider, I’d like you to predict / guess, how many points the Hatters will add to their total in the month of November?
How Many Points Will Luton Earn In November?
0-6 points!
7-12 points!
13-18 points!

Luton Town – The Joe Taylor Conundrum Continues To Raise Its Head
I think any realistic fan on here will not be able to predict how the month will go it seems we have two teams at the moment and it’s impossible to say which team is going to turn up for each game. There is no cohesion so as others have pointed out it’s just impossible to predict all we can do is hope.
If the inevitable happens and Edwards leaves then perhaps some points will come. This often occurs with a managerial change. Otherwise I can’t see much difference to October.
