The Hatters head to the north-west, this Saturday, to take on Preston North End, at Deepdale.
Both sides will be looking for their first win of the season, the Hatters have taken 1 point out of the possible 6 available this season while Preston have taken 0 points from the 6 available.
The Deepdale support will be hoping the appointment of Paul Heckingbottom, with their previous gaffer Ryan Lowe having been axed after the first game, will result in a change in fortune.
Luton Town go into this game buoyed by some recent transfer business that has seen Tom Krauß, Mark McGuiness and Liam Walsh join the club, although the former, of the trio, is currently receiving treatment for a minor injury and will not be available for selection.
In our usual poll, aimed at the readership gauging how this game will end, we can reveal that 76% are of the opinion that it will be a joyous journey home with the Hatters set to win.
As for the remaining votes cast, 15% think the least Luton will get is a draw while the remaining 9% are forecasting a home win, something which isn’t an opinion I share.
Despite the influx of a new managerial post, for the home side, I’m of the opinion this fixture will end in an away win, how about you?

I’m keeping my ear to the ground!
Word is medical only left everything else is sorted so late today or tomorrow we should be hearing the word.
Is the deadline 1700 hours tonight for inclusion tomorrow, or was it 1700 hours last night?
I doubt he will be able to play tomorrow he hasn’t trained here yet even if he was eligible.
Crikey burke an anderson fit to travel up to Preston can’t see the sense of it myself would have thought given them so minutes in an u21 game or two first why risk them now and nakamba could be fit very soon. Are they worth risking now or should they be eased in which I’d prefer surely with the incomers now we don’t have to rush anyone.
Your thoughts Alan without giving anything away.are they really ready for full on games?
There was a behind closed doors game Thursday, which they both played in. Think Tuesday is more realistic. But both have trained fully & look good.
Thanks for the insight Alan
hoping the new players gel quickly, be solid at the back, and we get a good win. we are on the up.COYH.
