It seems an eternity since our last Premier League fixture, far longer than two weeks, but today we enter the home stretch of the 2023/2024 season.

Naturally, looking at the Premier League table, there is a necessity to pick up some points, otherwise it’ll be a quick return to the EFL Championship for us.

Unfortunately, if I’m being blatantly honest, I can’t see us expecting to get any points from our next two fixtures, trips to take on Tottenham Hotspur (today) and Arsenal (next Wednesday), but, as has been proven on many an occasion, you should not take anything for granted in this game.

But, whilst I may have fears that we face a struggle to get anything from our visit to Tottenham this aternoon, that dark scenario isn’t shared by everyone.

Looking at our poll results, ahead of the game, it appears that more of those that voted are of the opinion that Luton Town will win than Tottenham will, 34% compared to 32% with the remaining 34% opting for the draw.

Now, on what is my birthday, I’d be absolutely delighted to pick up a point at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and if we were to win, I’d be ecstatic, but with our lengthy injury list, ten players missing today, I still sadly reckon it’ll be a long afternoon!

Anyone care to convince me otherwise?
