Luton Town Midfielder Impresses Hatters Support On His First Start For The Club

|

After two consecutive defeats, in the Championship, Nathan Jones had to change things around for the trip to Hillsborough.

It was not just the defeats that irked the Hatters support but the manner in which we had lost, failing to create any serious chances and generally looking lacklustre.

In making the required changes, Nathan Jones was able to call upon Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a young midfielder who was acquired, on loan, from Leicester City on transfer deadline day.

The Hatters support had hoped that Dewsbury-Hall would have made his debut for the Hatters sooner but rules relating to COVID-19 scuppered that idea.

However, his debut was well worth the wait with the youngster showing just why he is so highly rated by the Leicester City supporters.

Calm on the ball and capable of picking out defence splitting passes, Dewsbury-Hall quickly endeared himself to the Luton support with social media full of complimentary comments, as illustrated by the posts below:

Although just the one game into his Luton career, the clamour is growing for the loan deal to be made a permanent one, but that is not something the Leicester City supporters believe is going to happen, as shown by the following:

It could well be a case of enjoying what Dewsbury-Hall brings to our game for this season and this season only, but we can but hope canโ€™t we?

Hi all, well yet again another less then good performance in front of the camera. What is it with the team an camera? Yet again poor in the final third with final touches and poor quality passes yet again. Still it’s another point. Shame that Clark wasted our best chance going for the near post

Hi chris, don’t think it’s just the tv, think we, like other teams seem to struggle at home with no fans. Bit surprised we didn’t start with same 11 from Saturday. Collo didn’t look fully fit and personally I thought hylts played well last time out…still a point is a point…

Hi Alan, can’t disagree with that. But maybe it’s just me an sky lol. But I struggle to remember the last time I saw us play well on there lol. At least nj had the guts to admit he got his tactics wrong.
