Transfer deadline day is always a frenetic affair as clubs seek to do last minute deals.

Today, I’m expecting to be a very busy day when it comes to deals being done, at Kenilworth Road.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to cover most before I opt to call it a day and pick up the pieces tomorrow morning.

To get matters underway, on the transfer speculation front, one source, Football Insider 24/7, is of the opinion that Rob Edwards may well have uncovered somebody who fits the bill when it comes to supporting Marvelous Nakamba.

Our source is inferring that the Hatters are trying to do a loan deal for the Arsenal youngster, Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Lokonga, a defensive midfielder, has not featured in any of Arsenal’s first-team squads this season and is considered to be well down the pecking order when it comes to selection.

Seemingly, a loan deal is being implied if it can be completed before the 2300 transfer window closure tonight.

A Belgian international, Lokonga spent time on loan at Crystal Palace last season making 9 appearances.

Whether he can be persuaded to join Luton remains to be seen but it is our intention to keep a watchful eye on this reputed deal and report back as deemed necessary.
