It has been one of those kind of days, sat around waiting for something to happen and now it finally has.<

I never expected another raft of signings, like Friday, but I was hugely expectant that at least one would be announced, and now it has.

The Luton Town X site has announced the signing of the young Norwegian striker who has been the subject of much speculation over the weekend:

The 22-year-old has joined the Hatters from the Norwegian side, Tromso.

As is the norm, the fee is termed as ‘undisclosed’ but rumoured to be of the magnitude of upwards of seven figures.

At 6 feet 4 inches, he has the physical presence to be a real menace up front and could develop into a decent acquisition.

With Luton Town not playing Sunderland for another eight/nine days, Lasse has time to build a raport with the rest of the squad.

But whether he makes the starting XI, remains to be seen.

Fee was £2:1 million plus add ONS.if he produces the type of goals and plays he shows on his video then we could be seeing what Taylor may have brought and could be even better.”” But sadly he’s to old slow got dodgy knees and to cheap so one poster won’t be happy “” lol

    • Hatter88 says:

I don’t think you could see two more different players in Taylor and Nordas . I can’t understand your comment at all.

      • Chris winter says:

Both like to play off the shoulder of defenders unlike Taylor nordas will run at defenders and has other attributes. As to my other part it’s sarcastic comment about one poster.

  • Bill says:

Anyone know any news of departures? I know some incomers are underage so don’t count but we will have a lot of dead wood on the books if we don’t shift some out.

    • Chris winter says:

You’ll just have to wait bill many things being juggled at once you have to understand some can’t go until replaced.

  • Stu says:

This signing makes me wonder whether Elijah is on his way out.

  • Colin says:

Woodrow could be on his way to Blackburn according to reports

  • Roland says:

Bloomfield has to change the team around now Elijah Morris Woodrow out because cannot score, in comes Alli Nordas for the Sunderland game let’s start scoring goals now please, we’ve spent the money now put the new players in the team and get results what we need desperately, let’s get behind them now, give the new players a chance please, we’re all pissed off what has been happening, let’s have faith in Bloomfield management. • Chris winter says:

Hi Roland, I believe the Norwegian is only just back in training from the winter break out there. So may not be quite ready for a start. Also we can’t just throw together a new side their has to be some continuity. But I agree with you now get behind the team.coyh

  • Alan says:

Be a lot of happy chappies on here tonight, pelly off to Rotherham on loan ?????

  • Asian Hatter says:

An hour left of the window. Perhaps we are done as far as bringing in players? How many are going to leave is the question?

  • Roby says:

Glad we havn’t gone for that 35 year old ! who surely wont trouble pacy wingers !!

I looked how many Norwegian players are playing abroad ( population of 6 Million only !!)
    & its AMAZING ! Scores at premiership/Championship/Spain /Germany etc etc .
My only concern as he was our 3rd choice target, hope they have properly watched him personally !
But remember Elijah was an unknown in League 2 & he has definatly come good, but suffers badly from loss of confidence.
Lets hope Lasse is mentally much stronger & turns out to be a Gem !!

  • Mike Grice says:

Welcome Lasse. I think we might not see him for a few games as it’s his off season, but you never know. It would be typical of Luton now to get something from Sunderland and Sheffield U and then bomb out to Plymouth wouldn’t it? Hopefully that latter part is incorrect! Really looking forward to seeing what and Aasgard and Nordas can conjure together, and feeling quite upbeat now if we can improve our passing.
