As the summer transfer window slammed shut, the Hatters added yet another midfielder to their squad.

As we reported earlier in the day – luton-town-linked-with-deadline-day-move-for-arsenal-midfielder – the vibes were that Luton Town were closing in on a deal for the young Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.

As the Hatters prepared to take on West Ham United, in their inaugural Premier League home fixture, the Official Site, announced that the deal had been concluded with the 23-year-old joining Luton Town on a season long loan and becoming the 12th new player to arrive at the club since the transfer window opened.
