Or are they? It seems this piece of transfer tittle-tattle has emerged from out of the shadows.

Yesterday, as covered by ourselves – first-signing-of-the-summer-confirmed – the Hatters announced that the midfielder, Shandon Baptiste, had put pen-to-paper on a deal after his contract, at Brentford, had expired.

Later in the afternoon, another news source – Football League World – ran with with an article, that when you dig deep into it, doesn’t actually suggest that second signing has been made, instead it puts across the inference that the Slovenian midfielder, Sandi Lovic, along with the already linked – Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, would, if the deals could be gotten over the line, make it the perfect summer transfer window for the club.

Lovic, is currently on the books of the Italian club, Udinese and although he was part of the Slovenian squad that participated in Euro 2024, he never actually saw any action, but it is proposed his all-action style would suit our club.

Now, I don’t know if our quoted source has got its information from a source I don’t have access to or whether it is all a bit pie-in-the-sky.

I guess all I can do is keep a look out for any news breaking, on the official site, unless any of our readership can shed any light on the subject matter!

We’re said to be interested in Max Johnston, too playing in Scotland. I’m sure he trialled with us last close season and looked brilliant in a preseason game against a conference side.
