When it comes to the month of January, it appears that the Hatters have a fixation with travelling to the north-west.

After fixtures against Burnley (Premier League) and Bolton Wanderers (FA Cup), Luton Town now face a third trip to that neck-of-the-woods to face Everton in the FA Cup 4th round.

It is, of course, a fixture we do have more than a fair chance of winning ater sneaking a win at Goodison Park, in the Premier League, earlier this season.

But it will, no doubt, be a tough tie, Everton, since being hit by a 10-point penalty, due to financial irregularities, have hit a decent run of form and it will be a tough task with their position in the Premier League table, perhaps, a little false.

However, when it comes to games against Everton, especially FA Cup games, I still yearn for revenge for that heart-breaking defeat we suffered at the hands of the Toffees all those years ago, at Vlla Park.

While on the subject of the FA Cup credit needs to be given to all those Luton Town supporters who made a second trip, in five days to the north-west, in bitterly cold weather, to cheer the Hatters on, on Tuesday night, you have my utmost admiration.

But, the big question, at the moment, is can we go to Goodison Park, at the end of the month, and make the 5th round of the competition?
