It’s time for another of those random articles that, thankfully, continue to be well received and stimulate the imagination.
Yes, it is time for another of our ongoing series – They Played for Both.
Last time out, I chose to feature those that have worn the shirts of both Luton Town FC and Leyton Orient
Today, I thought I’d remain in the east of our capital city and focus on a side south of the river Charlton Athletic.
After much deliberation, I came up with the following starting XI (plus a substitute):
Goalkeeper – Simon Royce
Defender – Martin Cranie
Defender – Gary Doherty
Defender – Paul Elliott
Defender – Matt Jackson
Midfielder – Mark Aizlewood
Midfielder – Kevin Nicholls
Midfielder – Matthew Spring
Forward – Vic Halom
Forward – Paul Walsh
Forward – Elliot Lee
Substitute – Kevin Foley
There are some familiar names in that starting XI that served the Hatters well, but can you think of any other individuals that deserve a mention?
If so, simply drop their name into the comment facility beneath this article.
