Luton – The Cauley Woodrow Mini Fact File

They say you should never go back to a club you’ve played for before, but I’m predicting Cauley Woodrow will be the exception to the rule.

The 27-year-old striker became the second signing of the summer for Luton Town, following in the footsteps of Alfie Doughty.

Of course, Cauley is a familiar name to Luton supporters, but it perhaps gets forgotten that in his first spell with the club he only made three appearances before moving on to join Fulham.

Therefore it would be rude not to provide a mini fact file on a signing that could be the perfect player to form a deadly strike partnership with the emerging Elijah Adebayo.

Morning mh, this is a good bit of business cauley was 16 when he left let’s remember an we were non league team. So the fee was a massive boost to us. An Fulham took the risk. Now we are into the signing season ponder this. You know I can’t say to much but woodrow took 3 days to complete his. Doughty took 5 days. Latest news from Scotland is macey May join today. Now it was released 3 weeks ago a fee was agreed by the clubs he is under contract so not a free agent an had to wait. While I opinioned that he wanted certain things an was shot down. It does make me wonder why the delay in signing. I suggest that he has been trying to delay for certain reasons. That being so does he really commit to the cause of luton town? I will for now give him the benifit of doubt. But I’m not convinced he is for us.
