Luton – That One Was For You Mick
One huge figure, one huge influence and a Hatters legend was missing from Oakwell last night as Luton earned a 1-0 victory.
As previously publicised, the legend that is Mick Harford has been forced to take time out to undergo treatment for prostate cancer.
That treatment began yesterday, and we all hope that Mick is back with us soon.
Last night, the travelling Hatters supporters constantly chanted Mick’s name as he remains in our thoughts and after the game, as confirmed by the Official Site, Nathan Jones dedicated the win to Mick
“This win was for big Mick.
“We know he started his treatment today and Mick’s a big part of Luton Town.
“He has a relationship with everyone at the club and we’re missing him but he knows the lads are there for him and it was a big win for him.”
I am sure you will all join me in wishing Mick all the best as he commences his path to full recovery.
