Luton Surprisingly Allow Young Defender To Go Out On Loan

With the closure of the summer transfer window just a matter of hours away, the Hatters have certainly been busy.

On the day that it was confirmed that Luton Town had added the Bristol City midfielder, Joe Morrell, to their squad – luton-set-to-sign-international-midfielder-as-efl-transfer-deadline-approaches – we also bade a temporary farewell to a young defender who many believe has a very bright future, at Kenilworth Road.

The club announced, as confirmed by The BBC that 21-year-old Peter Kioso had signed for Bolton Wanderers, on a loan deal, for the remainder of the season.

Kioso, who played for the Hatters first-team against both Reading and Manchester United, in the Carabao Cup, this season, will, we believe, get the regular first-team football he needs at this stage of his career.

However, we have to say the move does surprise me as I had hoped Kioso would flourish in a Hatters shirt this season but, obviously, Nathan Jones has his reasons for agreeing to a deal.

Here, at Vital Luton Town, we wish Peter all the best for the remainder of this season and we hope his loan-spell is a great success.
