Here at Vital Luton Town, we’re not privileged to know what shape the squad will take for the 2020 / 2021 season.
However, we’re realistic enough to know that the Hatters hierarchy will cut their financial cloth accordingly depending upon which league we will be playing next season.
Our recent good form, 1 win and 2 draws, since the 2019 / 2020 season resumed, has given us real hope that Nathan Jones can keep the club in the Championship.
If that were to be the case, here at Vital Luton Town, via our poll facility, asked which of four players, Luke Bolton, James Bree, Izzy Brown and Cameron Carter-Vickers, you’d like to keep if Luton were only to sign one permanently.
The response left us in doubt as to which of the four you rate the highest with 83% going for the Tottenham Hotspur player, Cameron Carter-Vickers, clearly, he’s made quite an impact since joining Luton Town on loan.
As for the other three, James Bree polled 9%, Izzy Brown polled 7% and Luke Bolton (who has now returned to Manchester City) polled 1%.
But the big question now is whether Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to sell Carter-Vickers and if so, whether the Hatters could match the price they’d want.
I guess we can only but wait and see.
