Three points away from home, off the bottom of the table and hopes of Luton Town FC retaining their Championship status increased, I’m sure I wasn’t the only Luton supporter who went to bed a happy man last night.
But we’ve only won a battle, not the war.
Nevertheless, I’m sure no one will begrudge us our moment of celebration no matter what lays ahead for the Hatters in the remaining three fixtures of the 2019 / 2020 season.
Naturally, following such an exciting win, social media, for a change, is full of positive vibes relating to Luton Town pulling off what would quite rightly be deemed the Great Escape:

But just how good was the performance, was it this good?
Maybe the best performance of the season.
Highly professional
Rock solid at the back
Fantastic game management
Ruthless in front of goalCOYH- we can do this!!!!

And can the Hatters achieve what looked the improbable before the splendid win last night?
That was a game of two halves! Play like that second half for the rest of the season and it could be enough to save us!

And just how influential has the re-appointment of Nathan Jones been:
No disrespect to GJ but you would have to feel that had NJ not left we would not be where we are struggling for survival. The comeback (apart from the 5 nil defeat) has shown that we are good enough to compete at this level.

Fantastic result, were still fighting! Whatever happens NJ has gave us a fighting chance when it didn't look possible! 3 cup finals left and we have to now take this result/positivity into them! COYH!

But the win, last night, will count for nothing if Luton don’t get the results they need in their remaining three fixtures:
Just have to back it up in next few games!!!!

Good job!
3 more finals to go, it is possible lads!! 💪💪💪

Yes, it is possible, but at this stage of the season, there’s no room for error, no room for performances like those given against Reading and Barnsley.
