After the result last weekend, whereby Birmingham City walked onto our patch and took liberties to the tune of a 5-0 result, yesterday was an important game.
I got the vibe, ahead of the game, that a defeat, against a side that have only taken one point this season, ahead of yesterday, would be viewed as a disaster, even more so with two tough away games to follow.
I am guessing what I am trying to say is that it was essential we saw some degree of improvement, a restoration of pride and a belief that the Birmingham game was one of those freak results that happen sometimes.
Reflecting on what we saw, I reckon we did see some improvement, with Naismith, Burke and Campbell deserving praise.
Switching to social media, after the game, there was an air of positivity from the Hatters support, as the following posts show:
Should have been 3 points. A good response from last week's debacle

Indeed, the clean sheet was most welcome with the defence now totalling three this season, from the five Championship games played.
But, despite all the positivity, there is still the distinct feeling that Luton could, and should, have taken all three points:
Definitely deserved more from this! Well played team! ๐๐ผ๐งก

I guess we will, on another day, play worse and win, is that not the magic of this wonderful game we have all come to love?
