A bizarre heading but all will become clear as this post-match reflective article unfolds.
Ahead of the game, against Millwall at Kenilworth Road, it’s fair to say that a win was the expected result, something, here at Vital Luton Town, we covered in a pre-match article – luton-town-tipped-to-beat-millwall
However, its fair to say that things didn’t go to plan.
The Hatters had to come from behind, twice, to earn a share of the spoils, with the second equaliser coming three minutes from time, courtesy of an own goal.
But, on reflection, it was always going to be a tough game, Millwall, before the international break, were on a good run of form and their physical nature ensures they give most teams a good game.
Being so close to an unexpected defeat may have clouded judgement when that late equaliser was scored, but scouring social media, I sense a feeling of relief:
I’ll take that tbh. Milwall are always a tough team. Bring on Posh

But to be honest, I’d have preferred three but I guess not losing is a bonus, Luton still have everything to play for, starting on Tuesday evening when we make he relatively short trip to Peterborough.
Perhaps we should remind ourselves just how far we’ve come since 2014:
Well done all, keep battling and never give up! Conference to PL, do we dare to dream….❤⚽️👒 what a journey 👏 💪👍

But with a tough fixture, away to Huddersfield, looming large on the horizon, the importance of a win, against Peterborough, is emphasised:
Could turn out to be a valuable point. But let’s get another three to take to Huddersfield. #COYH

did i really see ruddock substituted, could’nt believe it. better late than never. how the f##k did millwall get away with so many blatant fouls. they are a dirty team, but have great players. would love to have afobe playing with elijah. keep enjoying the ride.COYH.
As I said before the game. Thought we started poorly as we have after every break. Just when we are in form these breaks do us no favour. It seems we only have 4 midfielders in njs mind. Snods Fred Thorpe an gomes must be strikers. Still we dodged a bullet. Onwards we go.
