The sprinkling of EFL Championship matches, last night, led to the Hatters losing their tenure as the fourth placed side in the table.
Indeed, the Hatters have now dropped to sixth place in the table, just ahead of our near-rivals, Watford on goal difference.
The results, which included a loss for Sunderland, a draw for Millwall and Burnley, a win for Norwich City and a win for Blackburn Rovers have only served to make the top half of the table even tighter.
In fact, only four points separate third place Blackburn and ninth place Norwich City, although we should point out that the Hatters have played one game fewer than Blackburn and Millwall who are above them in the table, if Luton Town can win that game, then they will climb back into fourth place.
Last night results just go to show how important each game is and the Hatters, who face Birmingham City (a) and Millwall (h) in the space of four days, need to get, I’d suggest four points out of the next six available would see those play-off dreams kept very much alive.

The game in hand is of course Millwall so that becomes a 6pointer an a must win game if we are to gather momentum an push on for the play offs.
We play them twice before the end of the season, critical games.
watched the norwich game last night, and birmingham were being sliced open with clever accurate passing. hope we can do the same. COYH
