With the transfer window set to slam shut next Thursday evening, the Hatters have moved quickly to bring an additional midfielder to the club.

But this is no ordinary midfielder this is a player that whilst playing for Cambridge United last season, netted 22 goals.

In bringing Luke Berry to the club the Hatters appear to have finally signed a midfielder who can replace Cameron McGeehan who was sold to Barnsley, a club that Berry has previously played for.

The 25-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Kenilworth Road and seems delighted to have made the switch, remarking to the media,

‘I feel that Luton can really push on this season and get promoted, get ourselves back in League One and hopefully keep progressing from there.

‘It’s a club that’s on the up. It’s not settling on this and it wants to keep on improving – like myself. I want to keep on improving with the club.’

Here at Vital Luton Town we`d like to formally welcome Luke Berry to Luton Town Football Club and we hope his stay with us is a successful and enjoyable one.
