Luton have completed the signing of Alan Goodall, on a two year deal from Rochdale.

The 25 yr old was available as a free agent after his contract expired at Spotlands.

Goodall can play left back or left midfield and has already declared his delight at joining the Hatters, stating that it is obvious that Luton aim to bounce straight back into the Championship.

Goodall began his career at club Bangor City in 2001, where he played in a losing final of the Welsh FA Cup, and also played European football for the Welsh club.

This signing leaves the Town with a very strong squad of left sided players with Underwood, Emanuel and Davis returning to full fitness.

Goodall played in every minute of every game for Rochdale last season, which is an impressive feat. Let’s hope that he can dremain injury and suspension free for the Hatters.
