The last 18 months have been a testing time for us all, I doubt if there is anyone among us who has not been affected by the pandemic in one way or another.
This morning, switching on the faithful old lap-top, I was stunned to learn that somebody who is on my Facebook radar, Alan Adair, was in intensive care suffering from COVID-19.
Now Alan is a loyal Luton Town supporter and may be known to many of you that frequent this site.
This morning, he left a message on Facebook that simply reads:
“I’m very seriously ill in Intensive Care and the next 24 hours are critical.
“If there’s a God please pray for me. I don’t want to die.”
A poignant message that says it all.
Please take a moment out to pray that Alan pulls through and regains his health.
Lock down may be over but the savage way this virus can affect anyone, even the vaccinated, is there for all of us to see.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family all the best Alan
All the best Alan.
“Even the vaccinated” – that sums it up nicely.
“I don’t want to die. If there’s a God pray for me”. Poignant. Pertinent.
All the best mate.
Alan,
Sorry to hear you are not well, stay strong & positive, you can pull through.
My thoughts are with you, Best wishes Paul
